yeah....i dont have any expierence with the specialized bike but ive heard some good things about the brand

Haro has much stronger roots in freestyle than Specialized who came in from the Mt. Bike side of things and has come a long way, but isn't there yet.

There are also a lot of brands other than Haro that are excellent.

freestyle IS park & street by the way.

Freestyle is: dirt, vert, street, park, and flatland
Freestyle is NOT: Racing

If you do one of the five things listed, then you are a freestyle bmx rider. If you race, you are a bmx racer.

so if i rode flatland and a little street and dirt id be considered a freestyle rider?

yea, its just like if your in football or baseball, your a football or baseball player.

If you rode JUST street you would be a freestyle rider.

It's like if you are a figure skater - you are an ice skater
If you are a hockey player - you are an ice skater
If you are a speed skater - you are an ice skater

Freestyle bikes are designed to do tricks on and bmx bikes (racing) are not. Racing bikes are typically much ligher, and use different geometry and design to make them faster around the track. Flatland is about the only aspect that really uses a different design than street/dirt/vert, but 90% of flatland tricks can pretty much be done on any freestyle bike.

How are the fuse bikes? I was kinda wondering about the fuse III it looks pretty nice but I dont have the specs.

yup bmxtrix and ninshadow i dont know about the fuse bikes but im sure on google you can find specs for the fuse 3

i had a fuse 4 a couple of weeks ago but hav now upgraded to a black bike and i loved that fuse i say its a great bike comes out with sum awesome parts like the light weight forged aluminium crank arms id choose specialized ova haro anytime because of all my bad haro experiences but i had no problems at all on the fuse 4 just remember the fuse is a dirt/vert bike fused together thats y its called a fuse which makes it great for all purpose use

ya the nice fuses have a cassete hub which is nice for smaller gearing

haro and specialized suck. specialized is prolly only good for racing, but i broke so many parts on my specialized, and my forks looked like i was riding a chopper. I'm not a heavy rider either. Haro is just over-beefed, so everything is real heavy, and its generally of a ****ty quality. if you want decent ****, pick up a dan's comp catalog (www.danscomp.com) and grab some FBM, Kink, or S&M parts. the S&M dirtbike classic is an awesome complete bike, for a price comparable to most haro/specialized trash.
