Pacific Northwest - Who is the fastest junior road cyclist in the NW?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Just curious... Zach Macdonald is from the NW and a top junior cross racer, so maybe some top junior road racers in the area?
Zack and all his talent have moved up. He is a U23 racer now, Collegiate DI National CX Champ and is racing in the World CX Championship this weekend in the Chec Republic. Also races Downhill and MTB XC. Still young at 19 but no longer a junior. Not sure who the best is these days.
Well one way to answer that is who won the "Junior State (crit) Championships" last year? http://wsbaracing.com/events/283/results#race_147389
Actually it seems the faster juniors ride with the 4/'s & 3's. There's one kid Max that rides in the 4's who is really strong, but besides that I dunno.
