I looked at it. I actually think they were competing with the Polar A1, but you just can't beat polar when you are a po-dunk, no name company. For standard heart rate monitors, it looks like if you're looking for the basic stuff, it's a good deal, though. I have all kinds of heart rate monitors in different price ranges that I use for my clients and for my students in my indoor cycling classes, but for my own training, I have the Polar 720i, and I'm thinking seriously of moving up to the new Polar 725 and getting the power unit. So this unit would not work for me per se, but for client starting out, I would definitely say go for it if you like what you see.

Had one - replaced it with a Polar A5. I wasn't pleased at all with it. Erratic performance and subject to losing data. Kudos to price point for taking the return after use and crediting me.
