Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Missing Threads Problem?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I note on the groups page list that the Framebuilders group is supposed to have over 1900 threads posted but when I open it only 40 are listed as available to view and are shown. Are the others lost due to a system crash or something?
This is the same whether viewing with IE or Firefox

That's 40 PAGES of threads to view, not 40 individual threads, Tatfiend.

Tom;
When I look at the first page in Framebuilders on the upper right it says "Threads 1 to 40 of 40". There is no means of accessing the additional pages that should be there. Look for yourself.
The same is true of this forum. The groups home page says 2312 threads here but the top of the forum first page says "1 to 36 of 36 Threads" with no means of accessing any others that I can see. There is no "Page X of X" listing or page selection hot links shown to me as I see in other forums.
This is definitely what I am seeing and it is NOT the same as for other forums such as C&V or Bicycle Mechanics. Either I am hallucinating or there is some problem with these areas. As noted last I checked the same thing is seen with either IE or Firefox browsers.

I need a screenshot, so I can see what you are talking about, since I can't replicate the problem with any of my browsers, from Firefox, to Safari, to IE, to Chrome, to Seamonkey, to Camino. If I can see what you are talking about, it will help with the diagnostics.
This is what I see, regardless of the browser:

Tom;
I figured it out. For some reason my browsers were only showing the last days active threads, but only for some forums. When I went down and changed to Show All in the display option I was able to see things correctly.
BTW I do not know how to record and post a full screen shot. I have never needed to before!

Tom;
Additional information:
My problem apparently was in my group SETTINGS area. I looked in there and noted that my "Default Thread Age Cutoff" was set to "Use Forum Default". I changed it to "Show All Threads" and can now see everything. Apparently some forums have a default display which is not set to "Beginning".

Ah, OK.
SHIFT/Print Screen>Paste into your photo program, or
Download GIMP.
then: File>Create Screenshot>Grab>Pull crosshairs to screen you want a screenshot of>save as jpeg.
