I'm going to San Francisco for a conference in April, and would like to rent a road bike to train on. Any recommendations in the city?

While they specialize in touristy rides across the bridge, both Blazing Saddles and Bay City Bike have road bikes. Across the bridge in Sausalito, Mike's Bikes does road bike rentals as well.

Not super high end, but serviceable. They all will happily let you use your own pedals.
