This past week I have had an opportunity to ride for the first time in 2 weeks. Monday and Wednesday I did 14.26 mile rides, Friday rode 5 miles, and then Saturday and Sunday did 23 miles each day. I have noticed that I have not been averaging what I was doing in December. Is this normal? Also I have been noticing that after the bike kinda gets warmed up there is clicking noise coming out of the crank bearings. It always happens at the same spot, and it doesnt matter what gear Im in. Any suggestions?

I had read that you can lose a significant amount (like 50%) of fitness in 14 days. so yea I think that is normal. When I have a clicking in my crank like that I first check to see if my crank is tight enough.

I will answer your questions in the order they were not asked:
2. Clicking in the same place on every crank revolution is usually related to the cranks or pedals. Do you have a another bike you can borrow the pedals off of for a quick test ride? If you swap pedals and the noise goes away then you have found your problem. If it is more of a creaking than a clicking it is likely your cranks and they need to be retorqued before you ride again to avoid damage.
If it is neither of these then we will need more info to help further.
1. Fitness seems to go downhill very quickly, but if you had the muscle base a month ago, you have it now... you just need to take a few warm-up rides and get you muscles used to riding again.
