I might be going to college at one of the two if I get in, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can put my road bike, not a commuter, that I am going to use for club rides.

I graduated in 95' from UCI and when I lived in the dorms I kept my MTN Bike in my dorm room - don't see why you couldn't do that now.

Put it in your dorm room. If that doesn't work out, put it in the common area of your suite, and tell all eight of your suitemates to keep the common door locked.

Unless you're got tons of other stuff you shouldn't have any issues putting it in your dorm room.

UCI has 2 different dorms. One of them is newer and has smaller rooms. the other is bigger, but older. I was in the newer ones and I think it would have been tough to put a bike in there. I think most people used the racks outside, which I'm sure you don't want to do. I'd advise against putting it in a common area. Just cause you live w/ these people doesn't mean you can trust them!

Then again, it is irvine so you could probably leave it unlocked in the middle of campus and be fine.

The UCI dorm rooms should be large enough. I graduated in '98, so it has been a while. Whether or not your roommate wants a bike in the middle of his room is another question...

I've seen people take wheels off and put a bike under a bed, in a closet, or on top of a dresser. It's all about thinking creatively.
