noticed i popped a back spoke on my stumpjumper..the rims are Custom DT Swiss X420SL, 24mm w/ eyelets, 28/32h.the rear hub is a Custom Shimano M525 SL, alloy QR, 32h.
spokes are DT Swiss 1.8mm stainless.. i weight 280 and if i am to heavy for them i need to look into something else..

That's cool that you can poop spokes. I suggest pooping out 32 spokes that are maybe 14/15/14 double butted and rebuilding your rear wheel with those. Also, for a better analysis, where specifically did the spoke break?

Most road bikes come with 14g spokes standard. I have no idea why so many mountain bikes are spec'ed with 15g.
