Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
rollers....:roflmao:
well, I just (last night) got some minoura rollers
just waiting for em to be shipped.
This being after sending a second resistance
unit back to cyclops because of it leaking.
I'd appreciate any helpful hints on riding them
and avoiding becoming a character in one of those
Cyclist killed in bizarre trainer incident stories in the
tabloids.......hehe

I have spent many hours on rollers and find that setting up a few feet in front of a floor length mirror makes it very easy. Don't look down at your front wheel - look ahead into the mirror just like you would look down the road.
With enough practice riding rollers will become second nature. And in the process your road riding will greatly improve due to the "smoothness" that rollers require.

Thanks Mark,
Mirror huh? never thought of that. I do know the
Kreitler site states clearly
"Don't stare at the front drum! "
they recommend looking in front of you, but enough
so that you can see wheel position on roller.
Where in No.Va? I used to live in Falls Church and
commute to Arlington.
Do miss those rolling hills.
