I finally finished building up my Allez Comp single speed project. Built it up from scratch with a new frame I got for a song off eBay. I laced up an Eno fixed/free on the rear, I LOVE THIS HUB. Had no problem adjusting my rear brake pads with the height variations and the chain tension and alignment is boss. I ride mostly in the Hollywood area, so the 48/17 free with brakes setup works great with all the car tag I have to play on my rides. I am also using an Arione comp saddle, it is soo long and weird that it works.http://img63.exs.cx/img63/1657/allez.jpghttp://img63.exs.cx/img63/316/eno.jpg

I am working on an Allez pro for my bride, single speed with a singulator. Might build the wheels tomorrow. Cheap SUzue hubs, polished and rebuilt with stainless axles and better bearings on velocity rims

I work in Hollywood. If I spot that bike on Sunset Blvd I'll holler...

it's amazing how much better a compact frame looks with a fixed drivetrain.

I am also using an Arione comp saddle, it is soo long and weird that it works. Surprisingly comfortable, great shock absorption.
