Are the frames for these three bikes identical except for the paint? They look like it. Anyone know for sure?

They aren't the same. The geometry and the way they are built varies.

Are you sure? I took the pictures of all three bikes off Kona's website and stacked them on top of one another in photoshop. The frames match up pretty prefectly. The stuff is in back, with the scrap on top of it, and the shred on top of the scrap.

The geometries are the same...but there are differences in the chainstarys and welds. Can't see in the pic though.
And besides..isn't the scrap steel?

The scab is steel.
My buddy has a Scab. Tough bike.
I think the Shred and the Stuff have the same frame.

For the Shred, it says on their website:
Our entry-level Dirt Jump bike with plenty of capabilities. Same as Kona Cowan.
I think that the Shred and Scrap are pretty close as far as the frame goes, the Stuff isn't really the same; it's more stretched out.
