I need help finding a bike I weigh 300 pounds at one time weighed 355 I am currently losing tons of wieght and need a good bike for exercise purposes and future mountain biking. I have a Motocross background wasnt always out of shape. So i know mountain biking will be bad ass.
Problem is I dont want to get a bike thats to weak to support my weight what is a good entry level mountain bike thats sturdy enough to cart my 300 pound ass around till I shrink more
I have anywhere between 400-700 bucks to spend just dont know a lot about bikes at some point I plan to hit some trails and minor jumping and stuff need a bike capable of this. How are the diamond back responses I found some with disk breaks like a response for 500ish is this a good bike? Also do i want 26" wheels or the taller ones whats the standard for off road trails and down hill sections.
Sorry for long post thanks.
