when i pedal there is a clicking noise in the pedal or crank (i dont know).....cant explain exactly where it is but i know its when i pedal down hard...this is a new bmx bike
does anyone know what this is?

Seems like a common problem. I'm trying to find the same thing out.

yeh i've had this problem with my scott boulder mountain bike, i took it to a bike shop yesterday, and they confirmed some of replies to my thread here that its caused by metal on metal contact, and that it needs taking apart and re-greesing

I'm a mechanic newb, but I've had the same problem. The guys at the LBS tightened my bottom bracket and it was fixed

ive tightened the bottom bracket and de greased and regrased the pedal and crank and it still does it
