This has got to help on those long climbs. I wonder if USA Cycling will let me race on this muth'r.

Those are fun. Looks odd on a mtn bike though. Tim, our LBS owner, has done a few of these conversions but mostly on vintage cruiser frames.

You'd run out of fuel on some of the climbs that the 50+ crowd do.

Looks a bit like some of the setups I saw when I was working in France years ago. They used to call them Mopeds- and were street legal for 16 year olds. As a two Stroke mechanic- I used to be asked to "Tune" some of these mopeds. Problem was that if you gave the moped more power- all that would happen was that the bike found a brick wall quicker as they did not handle very well.

But as a bike for fetching some pies, a nice basket for the bars and walla!

I had a friend who died on a Moped. Riding it on an icy day, it slid into a telephone pole. Sad day.

Yeah, my LBS has some of those too, but not on MTBs. Looks like a good way to burn your leg with how close the exhaust is to the crank.

All mountain bikes should be like that.

Sorry... just poking my nose in from the road forums... see what you lot are up to.
