Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Why-oh-why do the good folks who manage Gold's gym think that suspending classes on Saturdays to conduct instructor training is a good idea?
That looks to me like accomodating their instructors at the expense of their paying customers. Do they have another income stream that's more important to them than customers like me?
How about suggesting that they just put the trainers in the class with you and make it OJT????

That's actually part of my aggrivation. On Saturday morning there are already more people wanting to take the class than they have bikes for. It's only Janurary and this is already the second time this year when they cancelled all of their Saturday classes so they could host some kind of "event" for their staff. I feel like I'm being taken for granted and I don't like it.

Have you voiced your concerns with the management? It does seem kind of customer unfriendly.

It may be time to walk your money to a gym that appreciates it.

Your first problem is Gold's Gym. If I were you I'd look for a neighborhood YMCA. More bang for the buck and more spinning classes.
