cranky old dude

A new freind has entered my cycling world and his name is BOB.
BOB promises to be a devout bicycle follower and he is dedicated to helping me reduce my carbon footprint just a bit more. He'll accompany me on bike errands and help me to carry stuff around, he's good at that sort of thing. He's not prejudiced as he guarantees to tag along whether I ride an upright or a recumbent. He'll even come along when I ride the tandems, again either the upright or the recumbent. Now I call that dedication!
BOB's had experience. He's been out on two trips prior to signing on with me, though to look at him you'ld never guess he's ever been outside at all. He's sturdy and seems to be quite rugged and strong, just the opposite of me. :o
I expect BOB will be a faithful companion to myself and my wife for many, many years.
In the future you will certainly see some pictures of BOB riding merrily along with me on wonderful adventures. Until then you'll have to settle for these two pics of BOB resting on our Living Room floor....

....no, BOB is not the cat. The cat's name is Socks and his job is to snuggle in and keep me warm during the day as I sleep between my night shifts.
