Thanks :)

Here is a short list of places, where I usually go:
1. Solvang
2. PCH (from Long Beach to Dana Point)
3. Griffith Park loop(my weekday training routine)

God it's endless! First where are you starting from and how far do you want to go? Do you want to drive to the starting point or do you want to leave from your house? Do you want some good climbs or just mainly flat?

Well I live in Glendora, which is basically in between Los Angeles and the San Bernandino County. My mom will probably drive me north as far as Ontario and south as far as LA. Anything good in between? I'm looking for pretty flat, with maybe a few easy hills.
I am not too familiar with that part of SoCal. Most bike shops, and some book stores, carry a book that describes many, many rides in SoCal; from easy to slightly difficult. Also, you might want to check if there are any cycling clubs in your area.

The only really good riding out that way is in the foothills at the base of the San Gabrial mountains but that is far from flat. There is the bike path along the L.A River but I've heard of some guys getting "bike jacked" on that route. Then there is the air quality which sucks in the Valley. If you could get a ride north to Westlake Village the air is much better up there and the riding is world class.

I ride that path everyday and nobody gets jacked. When i get home i'll get some websites that have most places to dide.

It's been awhile so maybe they've cleaned it up but there was time a few years ago that it was pretty frequent.
Also when I lived in Riverside I'd ride with a club out of Claremont. That isn't too far from Glendora.

I know you're looking for a flat ride but you should consider doing the Azusa Canyon/Glendora Mountain Road/Mount Baldy loop since you're already there. I haven't done that loop in close to ten years but that's a classic SoCal mountain loop.
You can also do the San Gabriel River trail starting in Azusa/Irwindale area and taking it all the way to the ocean in Seal Beach and back. Best to do this ride with another partner.

I go to seal beach during the week and once a month i go the other way to the Santa Fe Dam which is a 50 mile loop. For me,getting to the top of the Dam is a b$tch.
Try PCH north from Santa Monica - go up as far as you care to. You can also try south from Santa Monica on the bike path (not recommended until you hit Playa del Rey) or surface streets. You can pedal as far as Palos Verdes, where you will turn around, because it becomes hilly. Once you're able or willing to hit the hills, there are soooo many options from PCH or San Vincente Blvd.
I'll be riding the Santa Ana river trail from Riverside to Huntington Beach this weekend.
Have your mom drive you to Baseline Road and the 15 freeway. An easy jaunt by car from Glendora, via the 210 Freeway. Take the 210 to the 15, go south to Baseline Road, and make a right off the freeway off ramp.
Ride west on Baseline Road, through Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Claremont, etc., till you hit Foothill Blvd. Take a right (west) on Foothill and continue onward till you get to Glendora. Nice ride, hills are rolling and if you do it on a Saturday or Sunday morning you will see alot of other cyclists.
Want a longer ride? Ride from Glendora to the Baseline-15 intersection, turn around and go back. Take Foothill blvd. (I think it is called that in Glendora) to Baseline Road go left (East)on Baseline, etc. The Baseline and Foothill junction is right next to where the 210 Freeway goes over Foothill Blve.
Be forwarned though that riding west on Baseline you will be in a headwind all the way!
