Well,

I've been thinking about a new fork for a while, and have just been out to buy a Pace RC31 rigid fork for my Kona.

It's been ages since I rode a rigid bike, and felt like a bit of a change. My fork will have V-brake mounts, the one pictured has a disc mount.

I'll post a couple of piccys when it's all built up! :D

Don't know about the rest of you guys, but all I see is a red "x". Maybe that's a new style of fork!

Nice Fork BTW.

Is that carbon? If so, how are the canti bosses mounted?

What bike is this for?

It's going to be for the Hei Hei...should make it a bit lighter, knocking about two pounds of the total weight..!

You get that Kona any lighter and you'll have to tie her down or she'll float away!

Nice looking fork, I saw a review in the latest What Mountain Bike and they seemed pretty impressed.

I'm really looking forward to getting them, and giving them a go.

Full test report to come ofcourse :)

Rich.

p.s. There was a house in Sturry we were to look at, but it's gone already...but by the sounds of it there's a few places in Faversham coming up...wouldn't that be spooky!?!
