BMX - problem-cranks jerking

The other day i was brining my sproket to the other side of where i dont grind, but it didnt work cause i wasnt thinking about the hubs. when i put it back the chain was loose. so i moved it back and i can only pedal half a circle so i brought them looser again which now i am riding with a loose chain its still ridable, but then as the day progressed my chain started cranks started jerking, its like it was jumping the teeth on the sporket, what do i do?

probably IS jumping the teeth on the sprocket, I suggest getting chain tensioners to keep the wheel from sliding foward or you can attempt to tighten the nuts more (remember to use washers) with a little less slack in the chain. This is normal with excessive slack, just find a way to take it up and keep it that way!!

I hate when that happens to the chain, it sux. do what pgzx3 said, he knows what hes talking about in everything lol.

If I were you I would tighten that chain up with tensioners or by hand or you will be sorry because the faster you ride the worse the chain wobble gets untill it comes off at 20 some mph and you will eat gravel hard!!! your best bet is chain tenshioners the primo venus is a really good one.

I eat it going 20 some mph lol. I was riding fast and my tire was making noises so i kicked it my tire made my foot go to the fork, i flipped because it stopped me so fast and basically eat the concrete lol. It wasn't that bad all that happened was my calf felt strained for a couple days and my knee hurt like hell lol.
