Touring - Help with Paris and Luxembourg

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am planning my next European tour. My bike is in storage in Brussels awaiting my return in a few months. I will begin a tour out of Brussels and finish in either Paris or Luxembourg, partly determined by what information I can find.
Does anyone know if bike boxes are available at either Paris Charles de Gaulle or the Luxembourg international airport? If so, how do I get one?
Alternatively, can anyone recommend a Paris or Luxembourg bike shop where I can acquire a box?
Thanks

Back in the days before I wised up and bought a folding bike , I would sometimes need to get a bike box for a flight. When I obtained a bike box at an airport, it was ALWAYS from an airline. Therefore I suggest you check with the airline(s) you're considering using and ask them if they have boxes available at the airport in question.
BTW, the area between Paris and Brussels is just about the only part of France I found to be boring for touring.

I agree. East from Brussels is much better than southwest, unless you really want to see cathedrals (Amiens, for example).
As for a box, for all the times I've been through Roissy, I can't possibly imagine finding anyone helpful there. I would suggest that wherever you go, you find a bike shop near a metro line and arrange for them to save one for you.
