I can't figure out why my images don't display in my post:

They just show up as links, but evertone else's shows up displayed n the post.

What did I do wrong?

Right now, if there is more then one image attached to a post, it will show a link. I am setting up a new server as we speak, and this will no longer be a problem.

Is it okay for me to edit the post and create a single image from the two?

Yes, it's OK to edit and post the two separate images in two different posts. Also note, there is a 100k size limit on any attachments.
