I've changed the Miyata that I think I posted here a while back into a pretty darn good commuter.

I remember when you first posted that bike, wasn't it a friends old bike? It looks great the way you have it set up... I even like the splash bar tape :eek: It matches the bike really well.

Good memory! Yeah, the splash bar tap & orange Jagwire brake cable housing is my inner "Fred" peeking through!

It looks really tight in the front. sixtyfiver had a thread showing a pair of fenders he cut in half because of clearance issues, it didn't look bad at all.

Both. It's pretty tight on the front, and the rack acts as a fender.

Plus, I live in the Sonoran Desert. Not much rain here in Phoenix. :)
