Hi, I'm new to the road bike scene. I'm a first year pre-med student who has been interested in road bikes for some time, as of late I've been getting more serious about buying one. I want to buy a bike that would be good for training and racing.

10 Wheels, thanks for the welcome! I've been to a bike shop, but I haven't got myself fit yet. However, I have actually measured myself with the help of a family member to measure my inseam and get an approximate frame size. I'm 5' 9" and with my inseam I got around 55cm...

I'm definitely going to tri-sport or another bike shop and going to get fit this weekend. My main concern is what kind of racing bike to get. My budget is something like 350-600ish (Pushing it).
