Hi Everyone!

I'm a Hungarian boy riding a road bike for 12 years. I often make trips in the Hungarian Pilis Mountains with my friends and my brother. We regularly take a round in Slovakia aswell for the cheap and good food and beer. Our little company also did some mountain marathons in the Austrian Italian and Swiss alps, crossing heights like Stelvio, Offenpass etc.

So I like much to ride, and almost everything about road bikes.

I own a Chicago made Schwinn Circuit SL out of a Columbus SL tubeset for 11 years, and I'm 100% satisfyed with it. I mounted them with some 2003 Ultegra parts, but the crankset and the brakes are the original Shimano Santé parts.

Welcome.

Glad you like road bikes. I love mine.

How many kilometers do you ride on your trips, and how high are the passes?

Well, now you have the Chicago connection! :D Welcome to the forums!

Whatever else information about you that you want to offer up is good in my book. And do you have any pictures of the city you live and bike in from your cycling adventures? It would be nice to see them... (hint)

Thanks for the kind welcomes, i only miss a long chilled welcome drink i will enjoy at company buffet soon.

I ride around 4000 kms on my road bike per year but countless kms on my everyday use trekking (superheavy russian frame, Nexave hubs, RSX parts <<i've got the power to know, you're indestructable>>) as i use it in winter on scarse terrain (like Budapest roads) and i miss a speedo from it. But approx 6000 kms per year with that monster.

I will share pics from Budapest, Pilis Mts and myself as soon as i figured out how to do it.

In Hungary there aren't any real peaks, the highest is the Kékes Peak 1014, arount 110 kms from Budapest. I ofren visit Dobogó-kő 700m in Pilis. But those Swiss and Italian passes are really OK, Ofenpass ~2000m, Stelvio ~2700m.
