Hello, bikeforums.net, what a comprehensive forum y'all have here, it looks like there's a place for everyone with a pair of pedals! Our local forum, akspokes.com, doesn't move much in the winter, just the fatbikers with their trip reports. This looks like a great place to discuss and celebrate the pro-bike lifestyle.
I'm a year-round commuter, going on nine years now, and am very interested in bike/pedestrian advocacy. My ride is a Kona Fire Mountain, set up as a 96er with rigid Surly forks to better roll over snow berms and take some of the bite out of the frozen postholes on days that I beat the plows to the path/road. I'm hoping to convert this to a longtail cargo bike come summer, and pick up something a bit lighter and faster for the summer commute.
Have a great ride, and keep the rubber side down!
