Hi all, I'm planing to build my own fixed gear bike, So I'm looking for a pista i'm guessing in the 2000-2006 frame model but its very hard to find, is there any shops that sell it around newyork? also are there other companies that make a frame shape similar to the pista concept of that year? I see the fuji track pro is kind of similar and the brooklyn machine works gangsta track bike.. Not sure what other relatively cheap frame/bike has a frame that shape and isn't very hard to track down and buy one

Do any stores in the states get any pista concept frames to sell ever? or its pretty much searching classifieds? those that do own one for a 6"0 guy would a 53cm fit fine? i'm looking for a frame thats a little bit small, but still fully rideable

I'm 5"11' and I ride a 55 pretty comfortably (maybe even a little small for me). I'm pretty sure you would be eating your knees on a 53.
I'm 6' and ride a 53 pista. i definitely feel a bit cramped riding it

I have it. I love it. not much else to say
fuji track pro's good frames? They seem to be nicely priced, that Cinelli Vigorelli and Pista concept should all be similar for the track/road? I heard they weight almost the same also

Bianchi generally measured their frames C-T.
I'm 5ft7in and ride a 53 (as measured by Bianchi) Pista (sans concept), which is more like 51 C-C
I think you'd be WAY cramped on a 53.
I thought Bianchi had a store locator on their website... but I'll leave for you to try out.
Yeah ill be looking for a 55-56cm frame, and looking for a earlier year concept, dont think bianchis site sells older year model frames, I seen some fuji tracks and vigorellis on ebay with no bad prices, what other frames are similar and just as good in that sort of price range?

based on you wanting a bike that fits small, are you looking for a bike to trick on?
nope no tricks, dont really want a small, just smaller that usual but still good enough to ride acouple hours a day without killing me, i plan to get a longer stem and all to make up for it anyhow

i see. well if you want a comfortable bike, i wouldnt go for smaller. but thats just my expirience
Or better yet looking for a lower profile frame but same size top tube, is what I should of said, sorry
Does anyone own the globe roll 1 bike? if so how is it for the price? most likely would be swapping out some parts, but its worth it for the price? (fast and responsive like the pista concept) light frame?

I just picked up the roll 1 about a month ago. I have to say as my first fixed gear, I am pretty satisfied. However, saying that, I really do want to sell it and get something aluminum with a carbon fork. This thing is pretty hefty. Friend has a specialized langster and that thing gets up and goes. I'm looking for a pista concept as well. You want to buy my globe?

I'm 6'4 and picked up a 61cm Concept recently.
They come up on ebay every week or so. Usually 1 or 2. The Moto track is a good deal. Similar frame style and the components are decent. Namely the octalink cranks.
Other than that you could get a super pista, they look decent and probly ride the same. I would expect to pay the same price for a super pista as a used concept... or close.
