the guy who runs hetchins.org totally REAMED it. i mean damn, it was a "tribute" not a replica.

Bilenky got served. It was a little harsh, but once you look at the Hetchins bikes compared to the Bilenky, the points are pretty valid.

I'd go for the Hetchins.

yeah the points were valid... but seriously. there's a difference between "i appreciate the sentiment, but this is how you could have done it better" and "okay, here is why what you just spent a lot of time on is a piece of ****"

luckily this is just a guy running a fan site and not the maker of Hetchins himself.

almost positive they are Vittoria Pro Teams... which i don't think are made anymore, but still able to be found with some searching.

I think it is funny that he was harsher on that bike than the forgeries passed off as actual Hechins.

Bilenky repaired and repainted my '87 Fuso. They did a great job. Plus, they make these cool cargo bikes that look to be perfect for hauling kegs or pizza around.
