i just purchased the 2004 bianchi pista with a chrome finish and i want to get the frame sparkleing... i always used car wax on my bikes to help protect the frame from the elements, and was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks about polishing chrome..
I believe there is a thin clear coat on top of the chrome, Would that affect anything?
A friend of a friend who builds frames said they use Murphys funiture oil on chrome... Has anyone ever heard of this?
thanks in advance!

If the frame is clear coated I'd leave it alone other
than washing it. Not knowing exactly what material is used
to coat the frame could lead to finish damage if you use the
wrong wax/cleaner.
