Okay now that you've helped me with that I of course have more ?'s.... I know for the most part parts arent upwards compatable (ie: 9 speed front wont work with a 10-pd drivetrain) But that most stuff IS downwards compatable (ie:11speed front der would work with a 10sp rear) But I am not well versed at all with the Campy/Shimano compatability?!? My basic question:
Would an 11 speed Campy Super record front der work with a 10 speed 105 shifters/crank/cassette and ultegra rear?

You should buy it and find out. My gut says it will work, but not 100%.

Front derailleurs are a lot less finicky about working with non-matching parts. As long as it won't swing the chain off the rings, or drop it between the rings, it will likely work. It may not be the smoothest.

The 11 speed cage is narrow. Some Campy users complain about setup difficulty, even with a 5.5mm chain. Probably not a good idea. The SR FD is ridiculously priced, like all the SR parts. I drew the line at Record 11 and and use Chorus cassettes that cost 1/3 as much and last twice as long.
