Hey All,
Looking for help at appraising the following bikes. The single bikes are sizes ~48cm and ~52cm. Both from around 1978, lots of campy components including der's. TA cranks, Phil Wood hubs. 3T bars and stems. The Tandem is a little newer, around 1985 or so. Same parts mix generally, campy der's, TA cranks and Phil Wood hubs. Everything is in pretty good shape but some stuff needs replacing as you can imagine. Take a look at the pictures below and let me know what you think. Thanks very much!

great looking bikes too bad they are on the small side. I thought I was the only one with Look "MudEVac" pedals around.

Custom builder, small size, great components. I'd guess 500-600 per bike, maybe more, but you'd need to go on ebay to get top dollar. I would with these. Not sure on the tandem, those are trickier to sell, because you need to fit them for two people, plus they're really bad to ship.

Frame size for captain and stoker? Actually standover would be even better.

More: Rodriguez tandems are usually very nice bikes. I see a TA crank and I believe a Phil Wood front hub. I would venture to say the remainder of the bike is as nicely equipped. Signs of a top of the line tandem. Try this link (http://www.thetandemlink.com/usedhome.html) to learn more about used tandem pricing. I could really be interested in it if it were local.

My guess is $600-800 for each of the singles, and $800-1,000 for the tandem. And you might have to have some patience in selling. Your best bet might be to sell them in the Seattle area, as Rodriguez is well known around these parts. The Seattle Bike Swap is coming up (Feb. 27) and that would be a great venue to sell them. See cascade.org for details. --Drew

Yep, a local market would get a better appraisal value. I believe he is better known for his tandems, I think his partner or associate back then is better known for the non-tandems. Maybe one of the tandem forums or email groups or clubs could help more since someone who likes his tandems might seek out a pair os solo bikes by him as well for their solo/independent rides.
