Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This fellow just did finish an over 60,000 km ride around the world on Feb 8th. His site has a load of great video, pictures, audio, and text recounting the trip, people he met, challenges, etc. His diary is a great read, although you have to translate some of it from Danish.

I have really enjoyed reading about some of the wonderful places he rode through. Once in a lifetime kind of thing, that he was gracious enough to share with the world.

Enjoy.

Congrats to him. His website is well worth a read and it seems he put just as much effort into it as the trip itself. Gutted he finished, it made for some great armchair travelling with a nice cup of coffee.

Hold da op! Sikke en oplevelse!

He lives only 50km from me, apparently. But he says on his blog that he's allergic to small talk, so I guess it's best we don't meet...

It's a Norrøna. Maybe the Svalbard Dri3 Jacket, but not 100%. I'm sure the European versions are little different than the US.

They make nice gear.

It has been a joy to watch his trip develop. I offered him a place to stay when he came through my town, but he'd already been offered and taken up with someone else.
