Hey, I'm looking to get a chain guard for my Kilo TT, and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

What is the largest chainring that you can use with that chainguard? I'm looking for the same thing for my SS, but can't find anything that will work with a 52T chainring.

I'm pretty sure most modern BMX chainguards will only fit up to a 46t.

Because that chain guard is for BMX bikes, I'm assuming it won't work for track/fixies that may have larger chain rings. This conclusion is based on the idea that BMX bikes have smaller chain rings, but I may be wrong.

ben's has some models made for polo, so they only fit smaller chainrings for most part. but they look tough as hell. probably pretty heavy.

This looks perfect, although it looks like it requires removing the cranks and BB. I wonder how sturdy it is. Does anyone have it?

Correct! Which is why I don't like it. Also, it looks like the mounting plate is installed between the BB shell and the fixed cup flange, which means that it will be very difficult to tighten the fixed cup while keeping the clamp from moving and affecting the fitup. Also, might not work with all BB designs. The fixed cup on my SS conversion is pretty much seized up in the frame, and I don't want to monkey with it. I'm looking for something that mounts to a combination of the frame DT, ST and CS.

The whole not working with all BB designs is very true. However, given the mounting design, I imagine you can clamp it down on the chainstay/seatstay (whichever you choose, I guess) and proceed to tighten the fixed cup without messing up it's fit. But, that's just my guess, and your guess is as good as mine at that point. But, if your fixed cup is seized.. There isn't much that can be done with that o:
