Figured this'd be the place to post this. Just got my Nokians in the mail yesterday before the snow, but they wouldn't fit(site listed them at 2.1",but they're actually 2.2",and won't clear the fenders or chainstays on my commuter). I noticed the packaging says they're "hand made in Finland",but the sidewalls are marked "made in Taiwan". I really don't care that much about where they're made, but isn't that false advertising? Anyone got any info on this?

Going to still try to mounting the front by swapping the full fender for a MTB one. I'm running Nashbar branded Kenda studs that have too tight a tread pattern and keep packing up in the deep stuff.

We only carry the 700C Nokians, but they all say "Made In Finland" on them as expected. Can you post some pictures of the tires?

can you return them and get a slightly narrower version? maybe a 2.0?

They carry 1.9",but they're pretty much the same as my Kendas. My camera is on the fritz or I'd post pics, but they def say Taiwan.

...but do they also say "Nokian"?

I use the nokian mount and grounds, 1.95 x 26 on the mt bike with good success. I think they were around $ 50.00 each. Nice deep tread and two rows of offset studs.

+1 And, low rolling resistance.

Yep. And spelled correctly.
