I've been posting here for a couple of days and realize now that I should have introduced myself. I'm 47, female, and just getting back into riding again after about a 10 year layoff. I sold my road bike, unfortunately, a while back, so I've been riding my hybrid Jamis Cross Country. If I stick with this, I'm going to reward myself with a new road bike next Spring. I started out a couple weeks ago just going a couple of miles and now I'm up to 8. These forums are great inspiration for me.
