Southern California - carbon canyon road or............

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Has anyone ridden on Carbon Canyon Road lately, or is there a better way from Chino to Fullerton?

Haven't been throughther in quite sometime. But one of the altarnates was Grand Ave to DiamondBar Blvd. to Brea Cyn which dumps you on Lambert which is the same road that Carbon Cyn dumps on, but on the west side of the 57 fwy near Brea Mall/State College.
From there, we would take Lambert heading east to Kraemer then down to the SART
No there is not a better way... I ride through there weekly and the only real problem is entering on the Brea side which is narrow till the top of the Olinda village hill.

Road it on Monday. A little road clean up from mud slides but all in all it is a good route. Going east is a fairly constant 2-3% grade with a few steeper sections. I will be riding it again Saturday with my local club.
Thank you for the info, Carbon Canyon it is.
