We have snow on the Sea Islands of South Carolina. Something that hasn't happened in 20 years. Now, how long until the power goes out?

Kerosene fueled hurricane lamps. I think the kerosene is left over from Hugo, but maybe Floyd. I have a bunch of cheap LED flashlights on hand.

Why not make a snow man? Have a snowball fight? Be a kid again for just a little while.
My parents lived in Richmond VA. They said when there was snow and the traffic stopped crashing the city was nice and quiet for while.
When you are finished with the snow please send it up here where snow belongs.137238

Not much down here in Sandfly. But what we have is kind of pretty. Some body posted that 49 of the 50 states have snow this year.

49 out of 50 have snow on the same day, only Hawaii doesn't.

DieselDan your area sounds similar to some of the more remote spots of the outer cape (Cape Cod) I love it out there in storms and hunkering down. losing power but being safe is cool
8" in Columbia, SC--first real snow in 7 years
