Looking for some input. Starting my second full season of tri and would like to get a tri bike. Have done a few half ironmans and I am going to do another 2 this year before doing IM Lake Placid July 2011. I really like Felts bikes and have pretty much decided to get one. I have about 1800$ saved right now. By June I should be able to have around 2500$. Not sure if I should pull the trigger on the B14 or wait to get the B12 which is about 500$ more. I do realize that I still need pedals. I guess I am wondering if the B12 is worth waiting until the end of summer or fall when I will have another 500 saved.
I dont really know that much about the differences. Same wheels and frame looks like. Different crankset FSA Gossamer TT Mega EXO 2-piece cold-forged aluminum 54/42T crankset with CNC 7075/T6 Aero aluminum chainrings; Shimano 10 speed chain; 12-25T cassette on the B14.
Ultegra 53/39T crankset; Shimano 10-speed chain; 12-25T cassette on the B12.
Not sure if it matters but I am a pretty big rider. 6' 4'' 200 pounds
Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.
