So I'm out for a fairly tough 2 hour ride I Barrington Hills/Fox River Grove.

On the way out I meet Alison (she new psyco so I k ew she's was good people). Only ride for a bit before I turn off for frg. Ride that mofo hill in frg ( what a freakin ball buster) a few times and grab lunch at Panera.

On the way home I catch a guy cruising along and jump to catch his wheel. Catch him and after a bit of chit chat (Andrew I think) he's decked in ABD so the inevitable question pops up ... What cat are you? 1. YIKES!

After saying I'm hoping you're out on a recovery ride , he says no, and I say, I'll try to hang as long as I can. 2 minutes later he's GONE!

Boy do I suck. :(

That was most likely the individual who is racing on PSIMET for mtb this season.

That's it. I'm officially calling my Tuesday Night ride "The C Group," because it's painfully obvious I'll be nowhere near the A, B, B-, or C+ group.

Oh boy, been a while. What a busy freakin' end of the year! Happy New year all by the way. I hear someone say Cat 5 I go YIKES! I want to go out and ride so bad, but I need to pick up some cold weather gear so bad. I am so horribly out of it right now, that for Barrington Hills, I would have to create the Z-Group for sure.

I'm still in base phase for at least 6 more weeks so if there are any rides before then, look for me right in front of the broom wagon. I'm serious!

Not according to the numbers you've been posting. Seriously, I'm dead set on base building for quite a while, very little hard stuff.

Glad your starting so soon CC. We'll meet up earlier this year :D

Maybe I'll introduce you to my friend, Cycling Burnout, about mid-July

Your friend is a real b sometimes. Just now recovering from the last time I ran into him.

LOL, here is my latest motto ... "strong enough to go slow". I keep saying that to myself (for the next few weeks anyway).
