I'm moving to San Francisco and need help finding a bike fitter that can deal with a mid-foot cleat placement as well as a significant leg length discrepancy.

I already have the bike, the cleats mounted in a mid-foot placement as well as the necessary shims, but would like to find a really good fitter.

Any help would be appeciated.

Check out Dario at WholeAthlete they are located in San Anselmo. The dude knows his stuff. I go there for my fittings. My right knee is very "finicky".

Curtis is an excellent PT as well as a bike fitter. And he uses the Retul system.

Roaring Mouse in the city just opened up a new fitting shop on the corner of 15th and Irving. Might be worth checking out.

Interesting. This was just discussed in another forum. Here's the thread: http://www.velocipedesalon.com/forum/showthread.php?13205-San-Francisco-fitting

I'm going to go see Craig Upton w/ Above Category. I'm kinda on the fence on whether it'll be worth the bucks so we'll see. Hopefully I won't end up with Buyer's Remorse. Guess it also depends on why you're wanting a fitting. Like to fit your current bike? Because you're experiencing discomfort or pain? Because you're getting a custom bike? Or problem a host of other reasons. Depending on your reason you might choose different fitters.
