Road Cycling - help me decide!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I can get a cervelo super prodigy with carbon fork and ultegra comps. for $1800; seems like a great deal. I have always wanted an italian steel frame, and have looked at the pegoretti palosanto ($2200), the pinarello opera(?$), and the cinelli super corsa($1800). Should I go with the Canadian Cervelo, or get one of the Italian frames?
all3sports.com has that same price for that bike, just so you know.

A great deal on something you don't really want isn't a great deal. Only you can decide if the Cervelo will meet all your needs.
