I'm still not interested in having any relationship at all. However, I would like to have some friends who happen to be girls. I've been chating with a few... My sights are on a girl that like to walk the nature trails. That would be a perfect friend. She doesn't MTB but I'm sure she would like to try it.

Just keep in mind that you have to keep your social life separate from that of your childrens' - until such time that you think it is a totally committed relationship. The kids do not need a parade of "friends", and anyone you date should be aware of your situation.

divorced? how old are you? age of kids?

nature walks and cycling are completely different animals dating isn't serious business so I wouldn't pressure anyone to get into cycling. I only took it up to help me forget someone. if we were ever to get together I wouldn't try to get her to go riding too. not sure I would give up cycling, I'm starting to get good at it. it only took 5 years!

you don't get one problem taken care of before another begins and your trying to start even more trouble by "having some friends that are girls?" I'll bet thats how the ex ball and chain came into play.
