Hi everyone,

New here and glad I found this part of the forum.

About me... Weighed 270lbs starting this year and knew I needed to do something about it. Felt like crap, bad diet and had no energy to do anything. First step was start losing weight and getting fit. Bought a elliptical and some weights for light reps to tone.

5th week weigh in was yesterday and I am now 246lbs. Nothing special just counting my calorie intake and weighing portions and working out.

Now I am ready to start riding as another part of my exercise and for enjoyment. Hope to be down to my target weight of 200lbs [i'm 6'1] before I re-evaluate my plan.

Goal this year is to hit my target weight and also make the Seagull Century ride this Oct on the Eastern shore.

Here is a new Bike I just picked up....Added the rear bag and computer. Pedals will be changed out soon but this is what they gave me for now. I will go clipless.

Hope you guys like her, I think shes beautiful
