Ok, so I've been watching racing on OLN, etc. when I can and pouring over still photographs (occupational hazard as I am a photojournalist) of the pro riders and have noticed there seems to be a disproportionate number of the peloton riding with Deda handlebars.

1. Why do so many pros ride Deda?

2. Which bars are they riding?

Could be any number of reasons. Deda make some very high end bars & stems, so it wouldn't be unusual to see pro's using it. Remember, though, that the pro's get given this stuff through sponsorship & the like. The fact that you have seen this stuff may just mean that the DEda marketing dept is 'throwing more money' at the pro's than some of it's competitors...doesn't mean that they are any better tahn any of the other makers of 'high end' bars & stems,

I figured sponsorship was definitely in the mix but it did seem to be a HUGE number of guys riding Deda. More than I would have imagined anyway.
