Any body know about any east bay area road clubs. I'm new to the road and would like to try organized rides.

I'm assuming you're refering to the East Bay San Francisco... (someone here once claimed the "real" Bay Area was the Chesapeake!!!)

Depends on where you're located. Around San Leandro/Castro Valley is the Cherry City Cyclists. Out of the Berkeley area is the Grizzly Peak Cyclists. I'm a member of the Fremont Freewheelers. Feel free to show up at any ride you think you meet the requirements for. Our ride ratings are on our website, as weel as the ride schedule. If you're around this Sunday, I'll probably be doing the "South Bay Loop" ride.
