saw him play last night in Seattle. He did not do this, and the crowd was not nearly as well-heeled:

He did play his new album straight through, I think he is actually recording it live on this swing down the coast, and that was cool.

no, that would definitely be a bummer. I am pretty sure RT is the act that I have been the longest-standing repeat customer for. Seen him a fair bit in between that first time and last night, too.

I missed this show, although I've seen most of his Seattle dates from about 1986 to 2006. Always jaw-droppingly good.

To think, I saw him in '69 with Fairport Convention and had no idea who he was. Still kick myself over that, though, no doubt I was suitably impressed
Funny think is, I knew who Simon Nichol was. Go figure.
