Hello;
I thought I would let some time pass until I beg (or plead) again for a coil cage spring for this model (VGT-Luxe) derailleur. Perhaps someone has a beat up or rusted VGT-Luxe that they would like to donate or sell cheap. Provided it has a functioning cage spring. OR... has a cage spring they would like to sell. This must be the VGT-Luxe spring only! No other Suntour model cage spring will work. I checked out the mechanical diagrams and tried other versions and they do not work.
The unit that it will be for is in great physical shape and I would like to use it for Spring re-build.
Any help will be appreciated!

Did you try classic on roosevelt in the Falls, that dude has lots of old stuff. Might also try Patio on Forest Home. I'd also check on the C&V forum. Otherwise I only have a hero and arx junkers.

Yes I did last Summer! Everything except Cyclone or VGT-Luxe stuff. Quite a place. I ride by there several times during the Summer. His stories about the good old Schwinn days are precious! I would love to inventory that place! I don't think he realizes what he's got!

How about I'll send the whole thing and then you've got spare pulleys if you ever need them. It should go for nearly no cost via standard U.S. Mail, so if that's a fast enough shipping method, I'll send it for free.
