Try for a smaller store.

I just went to Mission Bay out on west Randolph yesterday, and I found the owner very charming and he absolutely guarantees satisfaction. It is located somewhere in the 700 W. Randolph area (like 746 W. Randolph or something like that).

Alternatively, you could try Yojimbo's Garage, which is just north of Division on Clybourn. Do a search in the white pages for their phone number and give them a call for the exact address, and ask for a good description, because there's no sign on the door, so it could be difficult to find. I go there often, and he has a selection of new and used bikes.

Those are two off the top of my head.
