I did post this on the SS/FG thread since I dont technically bike on a track, so sorry to all the people who post on both forums.
Since I ride on the streets, I skid a lot.
Well, sometimes when Im skidding for a while, ill pedal forward and my crank will suddenly jerk forward as if the chain is broken (when its not). Its like the cog/lockring are sliping, when my lockring is tight already.
My friend whose been riding fixed for a while says that after skidding, its just the cog tightening itself back onto the hub.
Anyone had experience with this? Cranks suddenly jerking forward? (I know its not a problem with the cranks since its fixed-gear and the only way it jerks forward like that if its something with the cog/lockring.)
