Well, this is the beast today, new seatpost, new stem, one gear 42/18 and still freewhell. It works pretty well. Next step to remove old freewheel and use one sprocket and to disassemble the riveted crankset and remove the large ring, and remove the ugly plate on the rear wheel.

See, I told you that was one sweet ride. It looks fast just sitting there. I think I'd do drops though, maybe as time goes by you'll switch it over.

Drops it will be, or bullhorns, this is only temporary. It is much more fun than my old mtb. Even beginning to convince some of the hard core mtb:ers at work.

I´m in Gävle 180 km north of Stockholm, very flat but also very much wind, rain and snow, coast climate. mostly I run gravel roads and forest singletracks on my SS mtb but also some road on this new project, and to work. Rather many mtb:ers around here, not any messengers at all, not a single fixed at all
