hm. the rink in my community is actually pretty nice... but two or three neighbourhoods over they have a crappy outdoor one -- i'm going to go try that out.

Even with screw infested ice racing tires , the Zamboni fixes the ice up quickly. The rubber race is always good for a laugh, it's run at the end when the ice has some texture to it from being chewed up by the other races.
